Latest Album Update

After producing six albums in seven years, Collective Soul took a two-year break from recording and touring. The band is back in the studio now with a new album, tentatively titled “Engage,” that’s expected out in February 2004.

This one promises to be “a lot more organic than the last two albums,” Roland said. Taking time off focused the band on a different sound. “It’s more stripped down, not as produced. It’s guys sitting around playing guitars.”
